Our course has a well equipped computer centre to cater is the needs of the student. It has been upgraded from time to time as per the need of the course curriculum. We have well equipped Modern ICT lab and smart classes, Wi- Fi equipped live internet connection, Library facility with one of collection of latest body. The most striking features of this centre is that it is providing INFIBNET services to both students & teachers. We are happy to inform that spoken tutorial project IIT Bombay has decided to make S. M. College, Bhagalpur as a Resource Centre. The project is a part of the National Mission on Education through ICT, MHRD. Government of India to spread IT literacy to all. Career Counselling cell and Placement Cell of the Centre established by the UGC has been playing an active role in the placement of the students. Many of our students are well placed in Corporate Sectors, Software Industries, etc.
Passed the 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics as a distinct subject, or any examination recognized by the Academic Council as equivalent there to securing at least 45% marks in aggregate. Moreover, Candidate must have passed in English.
The admission to BCA course is based on the merit determined by the performance of the candidates in a written test, marks obtained in the last examination and interview.
BCA course shall be of Three Academic Years duration consisting of Six Semesters.
Each semester will be of six months duration.
(Some seats are reserved for candidates from other countries & states as decided by the University Administration).
Semester wise fees to be paid by the Candidate shall be as follows. The course will run on self Finance basis.
Fee may be revised by university, if necessary.

The Course curriculum is going to be framed as per instance of Hon'ble Chancellor's approval of regulation of BCA in semesters pattern.
The course will consists of Theory Papers of 80 marks each and Practical Paper/Project Paper of 100 marks for which there will be University examinations. Other than the Internal evaluation for each Theory Paper which will be of 20 marks and will be evaluated on the basis of classroom performance and Internal examinations.
