Strength-

1. The department is fortunate to have most qualified teachers with update knowledge.
2. The deptt is equipped with apparatus & materials and recent books for teaching up to PG level.
3. Three laboratories for UG students.
4. Green Board in each room
5. Computer in the deptt.
6. Sufficient furniture for theory and practical classes.
7. The deptt is well furnished with curtains and show case alimirah.
8. In the ground floor area the deptt is well maintained.
9. The deptt. Is surrounded by the plants & court yard and open space.

Weakness

1. Shortage of Teachers, Lab-Technicians and modern apparatus.
2. Lack of AC rooms
3. Deptt. Is not connected with the small generator
4. There is no departmental library for students.

Opportunity

1. Bright prospect for personality development.
2. Counslling unit can solve the various problems of students as well as of teachers & non- teaching staff.
3. Scope of development of research tools such as tests and questionnaire on different psychological and social issues.
4. Students can utilize their knowledge for benefit of society.
5. Seminars on current topics are organized for the welfare of the students.

Challenges

1. Inconsistency in the work culture
2. The sanctioned post of store keeper is lying vacant hence maintenance of instruments & apparatus is not possible.

Teachers are also arranging counslling classes & other extra-curricular activities.
